GADR Balloon Rally Training

(Deming)--The Great American Duck Race will offer free hot air ballon basic training on 
Saturday, August 2nd.
   The training is free, and will include hands-on training and basic balloon skills 
including inflation of a hot air balloon.
   The Seminar will begin at 9 am at the Deming Soccer Field, and is subject to good 
weather.
   Balloon Co-Quacker Glenna Damstra said "once you complete training, you can sign 
up to be a crew-person at the Great American Duck Race Balloon Rally August 23 and 24th.  
Mass assensions are schedule for both Saturday and Sunday morning, and there will 
be a Balloon Glow Saturday night".
   "This is a good chance to see what hot air ballooning is all about" said Damstra.
   It is recommended that you bring a pair of gloves.
   The seminar is hosted by Don and Glenna Damstra and Mike and Marie Pinchuk.
