Duck Royalty Pageant
Entries for 2019 have officially opened!

Official Rules & Regulations
*The duck royalty pageant is open to anyone who has ever had the desire to waddle in public.
Basis for judging:
A. Costume
Winners and 1st runner-ups will all receive cash prizes. Candidates will be judged on costume and on poise and ability to represent the Great American Duck Race of Deming, Inc. during the interview period. The contestant theme must be followed. The person achieving the highest score will be named “Duck Queen/King 2010”, next highest, 1st runner-up.
The pageant will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. All contestants are asked to arrive between 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm, but no later than 6:15 pm, and check-in at the registration desk with the pageant coordinator. Any contestant that has not arrived and checked in by 6:15 will not be allowed to perform.

*Spectators
Adults (12 & up) $5 per person
Kids (under 12) $3
**Each contestant will only be allowed 1 guest to accompany them at the pageant. All contestants will be mailed an entry ticket for their guest that must be presented at the gate. Only paying guests will be allowed entry at the front.

- Duck Waddle
- Create 2-4 minute duck routine to impress the judges.
- General fowl knowledge
- Poise and overall ability to represent the Great American Duck Race of Deming.
- Anything the judges may “Quack” up.
